On February 28, 2023, the National Bureau of Statistics released the "Statistical Communiqué of the People's Republic of China on National Economic and Social Development in 2022." In the first half of 2025, industrial robot production increased by 35.6% year-on-year. [In the first eight months of 2025, cumulative industrial robot production reached 512,000 units, approaching the level of the entire previous year; sales of electric loaders exceeded 18,000 units, an increase of over 10,000 units compared to the same period last year.

 

On April 21, 2026, the State Council Information Office held a press conference to introduce the development of industry and information technology in the first quarter of 2026. It mentioned that in the first quarter, 304 industry standards were released to support the upgrading of traditional industries, the growth of emerging industries, and the layout of future industries; the added value of high-tech manufacturing above designated size increased by 12.5% ​​year-on-year. The output of industrial robots and integrated circuits increased by 33.2% and 24.3% year-on-year, respectively.
